Japanese masume
Square cells with dotted cross guides and a gap between cells — the Japanese standard. That gap beside each cell is where furigana readings go.
Good for
- Hiragana and katakana practice
- Kanji with furigana readings
- Japanese composition practice
How to use it
- Centre each character on the crossing point of the dotted lines.
- Write furigana small, in the narrow space beside the cell.
- Keep katakana angular so it stays visually distinct from hiragana.
